Each week FashionTV rounds up the most fashionable highlights of the week buzzing on the net. From the best cover shot of the week to sexy trends and amazing videos!
Cover Shot of the Week: Cover of the week is awarded to the ever fabulous Cara Delevingne, who shines on the cover of Vogue China’s June 2013 issue. This is Cara’s second Vogue cover this year and probably won’t be the last! In the photo Cara is pictured wearing a gorgeous Spring 2013 dress by Burberry. (FashionGoneRogue)
Hot in the News: Hottest event of the week was the Met Gala, where all the stars did their dress-up best and put on a brilliant show for the red carpet. This year’s theme was “punk” and some of the guests really surprised with outrageous looks, while others played it safe. Take a look at 150 great red carpet appearances and judge for yourself who nailed it and who needs to google “punk” and learn more about the era. (Buzzfeed)
Trend Spotter: Punk is where it’s at this month, and we’re going to see this trend develop more and more into mainstream fashion… until it fades away again. The punk trend has been around for some time now, but the recent Met Gala event really pushed the bar higher. Here are three trends that we will be seeing a lot of: Spikes, gloves, and lots of hair colors. (People)
Designer Special: Who owns the “G” trademark stamp in the fashion industry, Gucci or Guess? Apparently no one does. Gucci has previously filed two lawsuits against Guess — accusing the brand of duplicating Gucci’s logo on a line of shoes. But Gucci recently lost the four-year legal battle against Guess in Milan. Cool Video Spot: What happened to former teen star Miley Cyrus? Ever since her provocative appearance earlier this week on the cover of V Magazine and her recent punk hair style Cyrus is definitely going through some changes — for the better — as Cyrus has now been selected by Maxim to feature as No.1 on their “Hot 100” list.
